Justin Kaine Foster

Founder

I am a passionate cue builder who pours my heart and soul into every cue I create. For me, crafting a cue isn’t just a craft or a business — it’s a labor of love. From the first cut of the wood to the final polish, I believe the energy, care, and joy I feel while building flows directly into the cue itself.

Each cue I make carries a piece of that love. Whether it’s the perfect balance, the responsive hit, or the elegant details that make it uniquely yours, I want you to feel the difference the moment you pick it up. My customers often tell me their cues don’t just play great — they feel special, almost alive with the same positive energy that went into making them.

I build cues the way I believe they should be built: with patience, precision, and deep respect for the game and the player. Every joint, inlay, and taper is shaped with intention. I take pride in using quality materials and time-honored techniques, but it’s the intangible element — that infused love and focused energy — that truly sets my cues apart.

If you’re looking for more than just a pool cue, you’ve come to the right place. I build instruments for players who value craftsmanship, connection, and performance. My hope is that when you step to the table with one of my cues in hand, you feel supported, inspired, and ready to play your best game — because a little bit of my love for this art travels with you every time you strike the ball.

Welcome to my world of cue building. I can’t wait to create something extraordinary for you.

Dawn Foster

Artist

Hello my name is Dawn Foster I’m the artist who paints the cues my husband Justin is the founder Kaine Cues. While he shapes the exotic woods and perfects every joint and balance point, I bring each cue to life with hand-painted details that make it truly one-of-a-kind.

Art has always been my passion. I don’t just decorate a cue — I listen to it. I like to run my hands over the wood, feel its grain and personality, and let the cue tell me what it wants to become. From bold dragon motifs and flowing accents to subtle inlays that catch the light just right, every design emerges organically as I work. The result is a cue that’s not only a precision tool for the game, but also a wearable piece of art you can proudly display.

Working alongside Justin has been incredibly rewarding. Seeing a raw, stabilized blank transform into a finished cue that feels as good as it looks is what keeps me inspired every day. Whether it’s a custom commission or one of our signature models, my goal is always the same: to create something beautiful that reflects the player’s style and elevates the entire experience.

If you’d like a truly personal cue that tells your story through both masterful woodworking and original artwork, reach out — I’d love to bring your vision to life.

Apprentice

Keith DeMar

Keith’s bio Hello I'm Keith DeMar, I've always had a pull towards pool. Ever since I was young I had a small toy table as a young kid, then at about 8 I was taken under the wing of an old pro player that had since retired and opened a video store with 4 tables in the back. Been a shooter ever since. So when Justin offered me the opportunity to apprentice for him and learn a new trade I said why not. Lil over a year later and here I am. I love working with my hands as seeing the wood go from rectangle blocks into beautiful pieces of work. I'm very lucky to have found a home with Kaine Cues and look forward to many many years of cue building.
